RADIORESEARCH.COM CHANGES NAME, EXPANDS INTO NEW INDUSTRIES

GAHANNA, OH (March 1, 2001) -- RadioResearch.Com, Inc., the leading Internet-based research firm for the radio industry, announced today that it is changing its name to Troy Research. In addition, the company has a new corporate address, phone numbers and website (see "About Troy Research" below for the new information).

Global Concerns Drives Name Choice

While it may seem obvious that the new name reflects Founder and President Bill Troy, the new name was actually chosen for different reasons. Jonathan Little, VP/Sales, explained, "We remain committed to our role as the leader in Internet-based research for radio, but over the last few months we have been working for more and more clients outside radio; we needed to move to a new name that would be less industry-specific. We work with clients worldwide, so we wanted to find a name that would work in many different languages." Troy added, "Time after time, we'd come up with a name sounded wonderful in English or Finnish or Portuguese, but then we'd find out that it meant 'thief' in Japanese or 'mud puddle' in Italian. Finally, we decided that Troy was the logical choice because if it turned out that 'Troy' translates to something less than complimentary in another language, at least we can explain why we chose it."

New Name Signifies New Expansion

According to Little, this actually reflects a transition that has been taking place behind the scenes for quite some time. Little added, "In 2000, we began working for clients in the television, political, music and advertising industries. We just decided the time was right to embrace that trend and move to a name that fits our increasingly diverse client base." Troy added that the company expects to see increased growth based on these new industries. He explained, "Along with the rest of the Internet-based research industry, we have been fortunate to be able to enjoy triple-digit growth every year since we started in 1997. We are now looking to grow even faster and significantly outpace the industry over the next three years."

The company also hinted at upcoming announcements of some major product developments. According to Troy, "In the next few weeks, we will be ready to debut a new line-up of Internet research tools that will place Troy Research among the world leaders in web research capability. We can't wait to show them off."
